"Follow Your Heart-Convertible Necklace"

This necklace is part two in a series I've entitled "Personal Truths". Follow Your Heart is a one of a kind necklace featuring a wonderful assortment of purple hued gemstones, pearls, charms, and stamped word talismans. The focal point on this piece is a lovely winged heart with the words "follow" on one side, and a drawn compass on the reverse. The necklace itself measures approximately 20" but the chain can be removed and the necklace becomes a bracelet.

I've included amethyst stones, freshwater pearls, chalcedony, jasper, and Czech glass in shades of lavendar. Purple is the color of creativity, and a perfect compliment to mixed metals in this piece. The handmade copper tags that I have included read -"dream,soar,fly,hope,and believe." My hope for the wearer is to feel the positive energy used to create these pieces of wearable art, and go out into their lives of beauty with hope and joy.

"Soul Song-Convertible Necklace"

This necklace is part three in a series I've entitled "Personal Truths". Soul Song is a one of a kind necklace featuring a wonderful assortment of earth hued gemstones, pearls, charms, and stamped word talismans. The focal point on this piece is a wonderful pewter pendant with an image of a bird resting on tree branches. The necklace itself measures approximately 20" but the chain can be removed and the necklace becomes a bracelet.

I've included abalone,bone,shell,horn,lava,freshwater pearls, and Czech glass to form perfect compliment to the mixed metals in this piece. The handmade copper tags that I have included read -"sky,spirit,soul song,wise woman,and earth" This is piece has a very earthy, organic feel, and makes a wonderful soft noise when the wearer is in movement.  My hope for the wearer is to feel the positive energy used to create these pieces of wearable art, feel grounded and connected with all of their soul's song.

"Soul's Wisdom"

This lovely copper necklace features a hand painted glass eye as the centerpiece. The eye itself is pretty amazing, a dark black pupil, and various shades of a tawny brown. Below the eye, the word wisdom appears with brass bells, and a lovely wire wrapped spear of blue Kyanite. Kyanite is a stone that is said to help you understand your life's lessons and paths, a great stone for meditation.

This copper necklace opens to reveal several pages of paper, some plain, some distressed. A great place to jot quick notes of inspiriation. The last page in this necklace is another sheet of copper with the inscription - "Follow the wisdom of your soul" hand stamped and patinized. The copper pendant itself measures approximately 1.5" by 2", but the necklace measures a little over 21". I have added pewter arms to the front of this piece to represent being open to new ideas, and answers you may already know. The turquoise nugget is the only stone on the chain, and is thought to help draw out negativity, and keep you grounded in love. A very special piece, just waiting for the right home.

"Sing"

Sing is a wonderfully textural piece of jewelry featuring a handmade, house-shaped copper bezel. The copper has been fabricated, and put in several patina solutions to give it a warm, aged appearance. This focal piece houses a small miniature collage, constructed from vintage ephemera, and covered in a hard, glass-like resin. The pendant itself measures 1.5" wide, and nearly 3" long with it's beaded fringe. The pendant hangs from an antiqued brass chain that measures 18" in length.  The beads that hang from the bottom include vintage brass, black polished onyx, and the egg shaped stone is a fire agate. A one of a kind piece, stamped with my signature bird on the back.

"Wander"

"In Spirit"

In Spirit is a mixed media piece featuring a combination of wood, clay, acrylics, ephemera, and found objects. This warm, motherly figure, was inspired by my deep connection with nature and the spirit world. She has a hand sculpted face that has been enhanced with silver leaf, a small hand cut "nicho" that houses a three dimensional bird, and a tiny feather is captured in the miniature bottle suspended from her wing. The back of In Spirit reads " in spirit we are all connected to one another, to mother earth, to all things before and after."  Her base is wood, and she is a free standing, piece measuring 12" tall with a  wingspan of 9 inches. "Orbit Bracelet"

Mixed metals collide in this one of a kind bracelet. I've combined sterling silver, copper, and brass to create this wire wrapped bracelet showcasing some really gorgeous Italian made, lamp worked beads. The large focal bead is a glass, Italian- lamp worked bead in swirly shades of green with some beautiful silver leaf. Black lava stone balances out the greens, and tons of fun beads and charms dangle off of this piece. A lobster claw clasp insures an adjustable and secure fit. One of a kind!

"Open Hearted Token Necklace"

This unusual piece combines my love of fiber art with beading. I have used hand dyed silk fabric and ribbons, and combined them in pleasing combinations of blues and greens to make this generous 34” necklace. Inside the sewn pouch you will find 7 hand stamped brass tokens with the words-”Light, Friend, Love, Imagine, Peace, Create, and Be True.” The pouch features a lovely pewter charm with a stamped symbol for keeping an open heart. "Harmony Necklace"

Copper sheet has been fabricated, etched, and put in a patina solution to create the focal on this long copper necklace. The front of the pendant has a copper bezel with a vintage image of two children, a young girl, and perhaps her brother; the word hope appears underneath. Open up this necklace and you will see a small, round, brass charm with the work “Peace” stamped onto it. I've use a variety of techniques on this piece, including hand made rivets, patina solutions, wire wrapping, and etching. The stones and beads have a great significance to this piece, as they come from all across the world. Some that I have used include-turquoise, jade, bone, coral, amethyst, amazonite, lava, and freshwater pearls. This is a rather long necklace measuring just over 34”. A one of a kind, heirloom quality piece.

"Sweet Lilacs Earrings"

These sweet earrings reflect the color of lilacs in spring, several shades of lavender, and a hint of green. Antiqued brass ear wires support wire wrapped, hand dyed silk, tiny iridescent seed beads, and Czech glass flowers. This pair measures approximately 1.5 inches long from the ear wires.

"Silk Tie Purse"

This handmade purse is constructed out of men's silk neckties, and lined with black and cream ticking. The purse measures about 12” long, and 12” wide at the bottom, and features a black satin cord for a handle. I've embellished the entire purse with zig-zag stitching, vintage buttons, the actual tags from the ties, and a handmade glass charm, featuring an image of a woman's face. Finally the ends of the ties have tiny bells sewn on, so you are sure to be noticed. Definitely a one of a kind piece!
