Southern California Artist, Carrie Todd, began her art career in the graphic arts industry, right out of high school.  Doing Paste up and layout for 2 local newspapers, she gradually moved into Computer aided drafting, when the world of editing went digital in the late 80's.  Working as a draftsperson, dealing with governmental agencies and rules and requirements, she longed to be able to just create.   A little over 2 years ago, a friend introduced her to the small format art of ATC's (artist trading cards) and a love for mixed media collage was born.  She has studied under several of her favorite artists at expo's and art retreats, and has recently had artwork chosen for juried exhibits. A full time construction project manager, Carrie works nights and weekends in her home studio, and dreams of having her work published.
